New patient registration
First-time patients register at the Cash Office / Reception on arrival. Please bring a valid ID (national ID, passport, or birth certificate for minors) and your SHA details, if applicable. Our reception team will open your patient file and direct you to the appropriate department.
Booking an appointment
The fastest way to book is via WhatsApp — message us with your name, the service or doctor you'd like to see, and your preferred date. We'll confirm your slot directly. You can also call our main line to book by phone.
Book on WhatsAppAdmission procedure
As a 24-hour facility, most patients are assessed, treated and discharged the same visit. We also admit Oncology Clinic patients for in-patient recovery care following procedures. If your doctor determines you need admission, our nursing and reception staff will explain the expected costs, SHA coverage, and next steps. Please have your ID and SHA documentation ready.
Discharge procedure
Before you leave, your doctor will confirm your treatment is complete and provide any prescriptions, care instructions, or follow-up appointments needed. Please settle outstanding bills at the Cash Office, or confirm SHA clearance where applicable.
Visiting hours
RKA Specialist Hospital is a Level 4B ranked, 24-hour facility. Because most patients are seen, treated and discharged on an outpatient basis, there are no fixed visiting hours for general outpatient services — our doors, and our care, are open around the clock, every day of the year.
We also provide in-patient recovery care for Oncology Clinic patients following procedures. Visiting times for admitted oncology patients are determined by hospital management — please check with our Oncology Department or Reception for current guidance.
Emergency procedure
In a medical emergency, come directly to the hospital or call our emergency line immediately — our team is available 24/7 and ready to respond.

Patient rights & responsibilities
Every patient has the right to respectful, dignified and confidential care, to be informed about their diagnosis and treatment options, and to participate in decisions about their care. In turn, we ask patients to provide accurate health information, follow agreed treatment plans, and treat our staff and other patients with respect.
Hospital rules
